Heifer Project:
This year, Northstar will once again be supporting Heifer International as our philanthropic school project. Heifer International is an organization that provides livestock and training to indigenous people around the world. The goal is to provide sustainable solutions to poverty and hunger and also help to make this a more peaceful world.
You can help us with this project by bringing in your spare change. There are change jars located at both entrances to the school. At the end of the school year, we will count up our change and children will vote on what animals they want to send where.
