All families who enroll at Northstar Montessori Preschool are given a Parent Handbook, which contains a complete set of the Northstar policies. The following is just a few sample policies that we have found are most frequently asked.
Attendance Tracking:
Parents are asked to sign their children in and out each day, using our automated system. This is for the safety of the children as well as for billing purposes.
Weather and Emergencies:
In the case of inclement weather, Northstar Montessori will follow the Saline Area Schools closure policy. A recording at Northstar Montessori, 734-944-9300, will inform you of the status. You may also call the Saline Area Schools, 734-429-8000 and listen to their recording.
Center Closings:
Northstar Montessori may close for situations beyond our control, for example: flood, electrical difficulties, etc. If there is an emergency that causes the center to close after the school day has begun, a staff member will notify all parents.
